Labor and Labor Movements Mentoring Program

The Labor and Labor Movements Section has a mentoring program aimed at creating connections and supporting the work of our members.  We seek both senior and junior scholars as mentors in this process.  Moreover, having a mentor is open to both graduate students and junior scholars.  Please fill out the interest form below and we will follow up with you as soon as we can.
In the box below, please tell us the following information
    • Name
    • College/University
    • Department
    • Research Areas
    • Rank (e.g. Graduate Student, Assistant, Associate, Full Professor)
      • This aids in the matching process
      • Junior faculty, please let us know if you are looking for a senior faculty mentor and whether you are willing to serve as a mentor for a graduate student
      • Graduate students, please indicate what type of institution you would ideally like to be employed after graduation and whether or not you would prefer to be paired based on this criterion.
    • Finally, please supply us with a brief Statement of Research Interests:
The following items are to help us see where mentoring needs are currently.  Additionally, for any of the following, please let us know which, if any or multiple, are criteria upon which you would like to be paired.  You are welcome to answer or not answer any of these.
    • Gender
    • Race/Ethnicity
    • Institution (e.g. R1, Liberal Arts)
    • Research Methodology Used (e.g. quantitative, ethnography)

If there are any Pairing Criteria or Matching Concerns that are not encompassed in anything above, please do not hesitate to let us know in this answer box.
