backgrounds in employment relations, human resources, organizational behavior, labor economics, and related social sciences. Applicants who share research interests with current faculty (see http://lser.la.psu.edu/people/faculty.shtml) or who would add to existing interests are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, a strong research record commensurate with a senior rank, and external funding experience.
The Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations is a growing multidisciplinary department with residential B.A. and B.S. in Labor and Employment Relations (LER) and M.S. in Human Resources and Employment Relations (HRER) programs. The Department also offers fully-online B.A. and B.S. in LER and M.P.S. in HRER degrees, as well as an online B.S. in Organizational Leadership.
